The Role

n

Tungsten Mining are seeking an experienced Planning & Mine Technical Services Manager to lead our mine planning, geology, resource and reserve governance, geotechnical, hydrogeological and survey functions.

n

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer and working onsite at our Watershed Project located 130kms North of Cairns on a 14:14 FIFO or DIDO roster from the East Coast, this is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring the technical integrity, performance and long-term value of our operations. Additional key role responsibilities will include the following.

- Lead Life of Mine planning, mine scheduling and optimisation across multiple assets.
n
- Own Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve governance, reporting and JORC compliance.
n
- Provide strategic technical input into studies, project development and investment decisions.
n
- Drive geological modelling, resource growth and exploration programs.
n
- Oversee geotechnical, hydrogeological, grade control and reconciliation performance.
n
- Build and mentor a high-performing technical services team.
n
- Partner with operations,



projects and executive leadership to deliver secure, executable and value-driven mine plans.

About You

n

As a respected mining leader with extensive experience across mine planning, technical services and resource management, you will bring a proven ability to align technical excellence with commercial outcomes to drive successful projects.

n

- Degree qualified in Mining Engineering or Geology.
n
- Site Senior Executive appointment under the Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Act 1999 (Qld) high desirable.
n
- First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency
n
- 18+ years' experience in open pit hard rock mining, with significant technical leadership experience.
n
- Proven success delivering Resource and Reserve reporting, Life of Mine planning and major study work (PFS/DFS).
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence executives, boards and investors.
n
- Passion for building capability, technical governance and continuous improvement.
