About the Role n

As Electrical Project Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of multiple projects across the Hunter.

n

While you'll work closely with the General Manager, Clients and onsite teams, a significant focus of the position will be commercial and contractual management.

n

You’ll be responsible for ensuring projects remain commercially controlled, contractual obligations are met and key notices, claims and documentation are managed within required timeframes.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Manage and administer project contracts across multiple projects
n
- Develop and maintain project programs using Microsoft Project
n
- Manage EOTs, variations, reports, NCR’s and contractual notices, ensuring all requirements are met within the relevant timeframes
n
- Oversee project budgets and commercial performance, reporting directly to the General Manager
n
- Manage procurement and subcontractor/supplier commercial processes
n
- Attend site and project meetings, providing commercial and contractual input
n
- Manage monthly progress claims and project reporting
n
- Support tendering and project planning as required
n
- Manage project HR requirements
n





About You n

We're looking for an experienced project professional who combines strong Industrial Electrical project knowledge with commercial and contractual capability.

n

You'll ideally have:

n

n
- An Electrical background either as a construction or engineering professional
n
- Strong understanding of project contracts and commercial processes
n
- Demonstrated experience with EOTs, variations and contractual notices
n
- Experience managing project budgets and commercial reporting
n
- Strong procurement and subcontractor management experience
n
- Experience with project programming, ideally Microsoft Project
n
- Excellent organisational and documentation skills
n
- Able to meet and administer project and company KPI’s in relation to projects
n
- Solid communication skills and confidence dealing with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and site teams
n
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare professional reports and correspondence
n
- The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
n
- Experience in projects based around mining, ports and heavy infrastructure
n

For the right person, there is flexibility around the employment structure, with permanent and 6–12 month contract arrangements available depending on experience and availability.
