An exciting opportunity has become available at our Charlestown Public School. We are recruiting an Educator. At TASK we strive to create joyful, secure, and inclusive child safe environments where children flourish outside school hours. This is a permanent, part-time Educator role offering a minimum of 27 hours per week across before and after school care, plus hours during the holiday programme. You will need to be available every morning and every afternoon, and during the holiday programme.

You will be responsible for: n

n
- Supervising and interacting with children aged 5 to 12 in enjoyable, safe and purposeful ways
n
- Supporting routines like drop-off, snack, homework and play
n
- Helping deliver creative and inclusive activities
n
- Building strong relationships with families and school staff
n
- Working with your team to keep the space calm and respectful
n

What we're looking for: nn
- Experienced in OOSH, childcare or education,



which is desirable rather than essential
n
- Available every morning, every afternoon and during the holiday programme
n
- Energetic, caring and reliable
n
- A strong communicator who works well in a team
n
- Experience as a Responsible Person is a bonus, and we'll support you into it if you don't have it yet.

You will need: nn
- A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
n
- Completion certificate for Foundations of Child Safety Training (GECCKO)
n
- Current child protection training
n
- Consistent hours across the full week, not scattered shifts
n
