About the Role

n

St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our Secondary Years team for a full time, maximum contract during Term 1 2027.

n

This role will primarily teach Senior General Mathematics , with the ability to teach Mathematical Methods considered desirable.

n

As part of a professional and cooperative teaching team, you will deliver engaging and well-planned learning experiences that support student achievement, foster a positive learning environment, and contribute to the broader academic and pastoral life of the College. The successful candidate will actively support student wellbeing, participate in co-curricular activities, and uphold the College's commitment to excellence in Christian co-education.

What You Bring

n

- A relevant tertiary qualification in Education with teaching subject qualifications in Mathematics.
n
- Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) Registration.
n
- Demonstrated experience teaching secondary Mathematics, particularly Senior General Mathematics.
n
- Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment and reporting requirements within a secondary school environment.
n
- Strong classroom management, organisational and time management skills.
n
- Commitment to the College's Christian ethos and values.
