You’ll work across a strong pipeline of civil infrastructure including:

n

TMR and Council Road upgrades

n

Pavements and roadworks

n

Bulk and detailed earthworks

n

Stormwater and drainage

n

Structures and bridges

n

Services and utilities

n

Concrete and associated civil works

n

Traffic staging and live-environment construction

n

These aren’t roles where you get pigeonholed into one small section of a major project.

You’ll get exposure across the full delivery cycle and work closely with experienced Project Managers, Supervisors and construction teams.

n

As Project Engineer, you’ll have genuine ownership across both the technical and commercial side of project delivery.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

Supporting the Project Manager with overall project delivery, programming and commercial performance

n

Developing and monitoring short-term construction programs and look-aheads

n





Coordinating Supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers and site resources

n

Managing RFIs, ITPs, lot records, hold points, QA documentation and technical submissions

n

Reviewing drawings, specifications and TMR / Council requirements

n

Assisting with construction methodologies, sequencing and temporary works planning

n

Monitoring quantities, productivity, labour and plant performance

n

Tracking project costs, forecasts and cost-to-complete

n

Assisting with procurement, subcontract packages and supplier negotiations

n

Managing variations, delays, contractual notices and supporting commercial claims

n

Reviewing subcontractor progress claims and performance

n

Identifying project risks and commercial opportunities early

n

Coordinating client, consultant and stakeholder requirements

n

Supporting monthly reporting, forecasting and project financial reviews

n

Driving safety, quality and environmental compliance across your work areas

n

The expectation is that you get involved.

What You’ll Bring

n

Civil Engineering degree or equivalent

n

Around 4-5+ years of civil construction experience

n

TMR experience will obviously be highly regarded, but equally key is your attitude toward development and taking responsibility.

n

Good understanding of civil construction methodology

n

Working knowledge of QA, ITPs, RFIs, programming and project documentation

n

Exposure to cost control, procurement and subcontractor management

n

Ability to read drawings, specifications and project contracts

n

Strong communication skills with both site and client-facing teams

n

A practical, solutions-focused approach

n

Genuine ambition to progress into project management

n
