About the Opportunity

n

As the Project Management Advisor, you will drive the consistent implementation and continuous improvement of Council's Project Management Framework, support the planning and delivery of strategic and high-complexity projects, and build organisational capability through coaching, training and governance. This is an exciting opportunity for a project management qualified who enjoys influencing outcomes, improving systems and partnering with stakeholders to deliver meaningful community outcomes.

What you will bring

n

Qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline

n

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and principles, with the ability to apply them across a diverse portfolio of capital, operational and strategic projects.

n

Experience developing, monitoring and reporting on project and capital works programs, including budgeting, forecasting, financial control and performance evaluation.

n

Highly developed stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and build effective partnerships across all levels of an organisation.

n

Demonstrated experience in compliance, audit, quality assurance and continuous improvement, supported by strong analytical skills, proficiency in project management software and advanced Microsoft Excel

n

A current Driver's Licence

n





A current and satisfactory national Police Check, or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement.

Salary and conditions

n

The position is classified within Band 7 of Council's Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $108,138.16 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
