About the Role n

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Site Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing facility and drive operational excellence across production, quality, maintenance, warehousing, purchasing, planning and finance. Bringing a depth of experience and knowledge in managing manufacturing sites, this key role will be responsible for overseeing a Kingsgrove location of approximately 80 staff and growing.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Strategic Leadership, including developing operating plans to agreed strategic objectives, providing strategic and operational advice to functional leaders, and lead operations
n
- Operations management, ensuring manufacturing processes are run appropriately, maintaining compliance, leading audits, driving continuous improvement, optimising production, overseeing investigations and developing contingency plans
n
- Financial Management, supporting preparation and management of budgets, monitoring and controlling expenditure, maintaining metrics, and implementing cost management and efficiency improvement programs.

- Customer focus, ensuring products are manufactured and delivered according to customer demand and production plans, overseeing site production adhering to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) requirements and foster effective communication with Sales, Customer Service, Distribution, and Supply Chain stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

- People Leadership, leading,



coaching and developing a multi disciplinary team of direct reports.

- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
n

About You nn
- Significant leadership experience in a senior operations or manufacturing management role within food manufacturing, FMCG, or a related processing environment.
n
- Proven experience leading multi-functional teams across production, quality, maintenance, and warehousing.
n
- Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, food safety systems, quality management, and compliance requirements.
n
- Demonstrated success in delivering continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
n
- Experience managing budgets, capital projects, and operational performance metrics.
n
- Strong knowledge of production planning, supply chain processes, and SOP frameworks.
n
- Experience managing audits and regulatory compliance programmes.
n

Qualifications n

Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Food Science, or a related discipline preferred.
