Position Summary

This role offers an chance to the right person to build a strong foundation and deliver significant improvements to the Diversfied’s financial performance and operational processes. Th roll will lead high-impact initiatives that redefine how financial management and investment are approached across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, delivering timely, accurate statements.

Report and communicate month-over-month variances to US Corporate Finance. Upload financials to OneStream based on Global reporting calendar.

Provide guidance on global account structures and ensure intercompany transactions and transfer pricing documentation is maintained for statutory and US GAAP reporting.

Oversee and/or collaborate with Operations and Finance Operations to manage cash flow forecasting liquidity, and banking relationships.

Oversee POC revenue recognition and project costing including establishment of validations related to key drivers and evaluate month-over-month changes for accurate project-based revenue recognition.

Compliance & Process Improvement

Ensure tax compliance and timely filings across APAC countries, including Australia.





Address audit findings and ensure adherence to internal and external audit standards.

Identify process improvements and control deficiencies in the organization and present plan for remediation.

Optimize financial systems and reporting for accuracy and efficiency.

Implement process improvements to enhance forecasts, metrics, and team productivity.

Strategic Leadership

Serve as a financial advisor to Corporate and regional leadership, providing insights on performance, risks, and opportunities.

Support special projects, including ERP implementation and process standardization.

Deliver actionable financial forecasts and strategic plans to drive business growth.

Lead in structuring of Finance organization to address Corporate and regional leadership needs of the business.

Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the regional finance team.

Mentor team members to ensure professional growth and operational excellence

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.

CPA certification (or direct equivalent) or an MBA.

10+ years in finance, including 5+ in multinational leadership roles.

Expertise in accounting, FP&A;, treasury, and regulatory compliance.

Strong knowledge of US GAAP and cross-border accounting standards.

Results-driven with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Ability to travel 10-20% to support business or project-related needs.

Applicants must be an Australian citizen to meet regulatory, compliance, and clearance requirements associated with this position.

Preferred:

Experience in project accounting, including budgeting, cost tracking, and revenue recognition specific to projects with defined timelines and deliverables.

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with systems like OneStream, D365 or Pronto is a plus.

Experience in private equity-backed companies is a plus.
