Looking for an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to work on heavy mobile plant, mining and earthmoving equipment in the Hunter Valley NSW .

The role involves servicing, preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, mechanical repairs and fault finding on heavy diesel machinery and mobile plant.
n
We’re looking for a mechanic who knows heavy equipment, can diagnose problems properly and can get machinery back to work without needing to be constantly supervised.
n
Roster arrangements can be discussed depending on experience and availability.
Key responsibilities n
n
- n
Servicing and preventative maintenance on heavy mobile plant
n
- n
Breakdown repairs and mechanical repairs
n
- n
Fault finding and diagnostics on heavy diesel equipment
n
- n
Repairs and maintenance on mining and earthmoving machinery
n
- n
Identifying mechanical faults and getting equipment back to work
n
- n
Working independently when required
n
- n
Following safe work practices
n
About you nn
- n
Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
n
- n
Certificate of Proficiency preferred
n
- n
Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, or Mobile Plant Mechanic
n
- n
Experience with heavy mobile plant, mining or earthmoving equipment
n
- n
Robust mechanical, diagnostic and fault-finding skills
n
- n
Able to work safely and independently
n
- n
Current Australian Manual Driver’s Licence
n
- n
Australian working rights
n
n
Experience with CAT and other heavy mobile plant is essential and will be expected.
n
