About the Role

n

We’re growing our project team and are seeking experienced E&I; Construction Technicians / Hazardous Areas Electricians to support delivery of the Upstream Devex Project .

n

Working a 2:2 FIFO roster , you’ll undertake hands-on electrical and instrumentation construction works across an industrial project environment, with a strong focus on installation, testing, pre-commissioning and safe project delivery.

n

With purpose, respect and a driven mindset, you’ll contribute by:

n




- Carrying out electrical and instrumentation construction works, including cable installation, glanding, termination and equipment installation.
n
- Installing and terminating field instrumentation, control devices, junction boxes, panels and associated equipment.
n
- Performing instrument calibration, loop checks, functional testing and pre-commissioning activities.
n
- Installing hazardous area electrical and instrumentation equipment in accordance with relevant standards and project requirements.
n
- Interpreting electrical schematics, loop diagrams, P&IDs;, cable schedules, termination drawings and construction work packs.
n
- Completing construction testing, QA documentation, inspection records and project handover documentation.
n
- Identifying and rectifying installation issues during construction and commissioning activities.
n
- Working collaboratively with supervisors, engineers and other trades to deliver project scopes safely and efficiently.
n
- Ensuring all construction activities are completed in accordance with project specifications, site procedures, permits and applicable standards.

Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role:

n

n




- Unrestricted Australian Electrical Licence.
n
- Current Hazardous Areas (EEHA/HA) qualification.
n
- Demonstrated experience in E&I; construction within oil & gas, energy, mining or heavy industrial projects.
n
- Strong practical knowledge of electrical and instrumentation installation, termination and testing.
n
- Experience with instrument calibration, loop checking, functional testing and pre-commissioning.
n
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs;, loop diagrams, cable schedules and construction documentation.
n
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.
n
- Current White Card and Driver’s Licence.
n
- Full Australian working rights.
n

Please note: This role is FIFO from Brisbane or Adelaide only . Candidates must be based in one of these locations.
