Job Description

Senior Mental Health Professional (Clinical Nurse Specialist Gde 2, Occupational Therapist/Social Worker Lvl 3, Senior Psychologist) - Out of Home Care/Whole Family Team (Drug Health Focus) - Temp PT

The ideal candidate is a skilled and compassionate senior clinician with strong experience in mental health and drug health, particularly in complex family and child protection settings. You bring a solid understanding of trauma, attachment theory and dual diagnosis interventions, and you are confident in delivering specialist assessments, case formulation and therapeutic interventions across the lifespan.

You are collaborative, adaptable and capable of providing clinical leadership, supervision and guidance to less experienced staff and students. Your practice is grounded in ethical, evidence based care, and you are comfortable navigating legal frameworks such as the NSW Mental Health Act. You thrive in multidisciplinary environments and are committed to supporting vulnerable families with professionalism, empathy and cultural sensitivity.

young people or families.

Outline your experience in providing clinical leadership or supervision. How do you support team members to deliver high quality, evidence based care?

Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
