About the role n

This role involves coupling and uncoupling trucks and trailers using a yard tug, operating forklifts, and managing freight movements in a yard and dock setting. You will communicate trailer movements to operations and team members, assist with vehicle loading and unloading, and maintain a safe and organised yard.

This role is based at our Abbe Coolaroo site. The current vacancy is for a Day shift, start time 5:54am.

Key responsibilities n

n
- Coupling and uncoupling trucks and trailers using a yard tugger
n
- Constant communication of trailer movements to operations and team members
n
- Operate forklifts and handle freight safely and efficiently
n




- Assist with vehicle loading and unloading
n
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe yard environment
n
- Safely manoeuvre and position trailers in the yard and dock areas
n
- Conduct pre-start checks and basic vehicle maintenance
n
- Liaise with dispatch and warehouse teams to coordinate trailer movements
n
- Follow all site safety and compliance protocols
n

- Valid LF License (mandatory)
n
- Proven experience in yard tug or heavy vehicle driving
n
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
n
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time hours with flexibility for overtime
