Synergie Australia is seeking a PayrollSpecialist for a trusted client located in Milton, QLD.

The significant parts: n

n
- Pay: $65 per hour + Super | Duration: 3-month contract
n
- Hours: Monday-Friday | 38 hours per week
n

What you will be required to do: n

You'll support a major payroll transformation initiative, working closely with payroll, HR, and business stakeholders to ensure the successful rollout of new payroll systems and processes.

- Support the rollout, testing, and implementation of new payroll software
n
- Assist with payroll data migration, validation, and go-live activities
n
- Provide support across payroll project delivery and transformation initiatives
n
- Review payroll processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy
n
- Document standard operating procedures and standardise payroll workflows
n
- Ensure compliance with industrial instruments, payroll legislation, and governance requirements
n
- Analyse payroll data and support reporting requirements
n
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project outcomes
n
- Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities
n




- Act as a change champion, supporting adoption of new systems and processes
n

To be successful in the role you will: nn
- Have proven experience in a large multi-site, multi-agreement payroll environment
n
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of payroll operations, legislation, compliance, and governance
n
- Have experience supporting payroll projects, payroll system implementations, or payroll transformations
n
- Possess the ability to interpret industrial instruments, awards, and enterprise agreements
n
- Have strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
n
- Be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
n
- Have experience with HRIS and payroll systems analysis
n
- Demonstrate excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
n
- Be capable of managing competing priorities within a complex operational environment
n
- Have exposure to payroll systems such as Preceda and/or Kronos (highly regarded)
n
