Role overview

The purpose of the Contract Administrator role is to manage, coordinate, and oversee contractual and administrative requirements within the organisation. The position ensures that contracts are prepared, reviewed, and administered in line with legal, regulatory, and organisational standards, supporting project delivery and protecting the company’s commercial interests.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare, review, and administer contracts for cleaning and maintenance services.
- Ensure all contractual terms comply with legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements.
- Monitor contract performance, obligations, and service delivery against agreed standards.
- Manage variations, extensions, and claims in line with company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, correspondence, and compliance documentation.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve contractual issues.
- Provide advice on contract risks, obligations, and compliance matters.
- Support tendering processes by preparing documentation and assisting with bid evaluations.




- Report on contract status, risks, and performance to senior management.
- Contribute to operational efficiency by streamlining contract administration processes.

Qualifications and skills

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, or a related discipline.
- Equivalent vocational qualifications in contract management or procurement may be considered.

Experience:

- 1–2 years of experience in contract administration, procurement, or project coordination.
- Exposure to service contracts, supplier agreements, or facilities management arrangements.

Knowledge:

- Basic understanding of contract law, compliance obligations, and risk management principles.
- Familiarity with tendering processes, bid evaluation, and supplier negotiation.
- Awareness of workplace health and safety standards relevant to service contracts.
