We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our friendly and supportive Allied Health team, based in Warracknabeal. This role offers a varied and rewarding caseload, providing evidence-based occupational therapy assessment and intervention across our community, acute and aged care services. You will work with clients across the lifespan, from children through to older adults, providing a varied caseload and the opportunity to develop your clinical skills across a range of presentations and settings. The role may involve supporting clients with a range of functional, physical, cognitive and psychosocial needs, with opportunities to work across areas including activities of daily living, functional capacity, equipment and assistive technology, home and community participate on, cognitive assessment, psychosocial support and discharge planning. The successful candidate will have:

- A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Clinical experience within a public health or hospital setting is highly regarded




- An understanding of the public health sector and the role of Occupational Therapy within a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated clinical skills in occupational therapy assessment, intervention and management across a range of functional needs
- Experience in paediatric, acute, aged care, rehabilitation or community settings is highly regarded; however, applications from candidates with relevant experience in other settings are encouraged
- Experience supporting clients with activities of daily living, functional capacity, equipment and assistive technology, home safety and community participation
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement evidence-based, person-centred intervention plans
- Solid communication, interpersonal and clinical reasoning skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, carers and a range of health professionals
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current Working with Children Check and Police Check or willingness to obtain
