We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist to join our friendly and supportive Allied Health team based in Warracknabeal. This is a diverse and rewarding role providing evidence-based speech pathology assessment, intervention and support across our community, acute and aged care services. You will work with a broad range of clients presenting with communication and swallowing difficulties, including speech, language, voice, cognition and dysphagia. The role offers a diverse caseload, providing speech pathology services to clients across the lifespan, from children through to older adults. While the position is based in Warracknabeal, you may work across our three campuses in Warracknabeal, Hopetoun and Beulah, with service locations determined by client demand and operational needs. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you will support clients to improve their communication, swallowing safety, independence, participation and overall quality of life. The successful candidate will have:

- A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and current membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)




- Clinical experience within a public health or hospital setting is highly regarded
- An understanding of the public health sector and the role of Speech Pathology within a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated clinical skills in the assessment, intervention and management of communication and swallowing disorders
- Experience in paediatric, acute, aged care, rehabilitation or community settings is highly regarded; however, applications from candidates with relevant experience in other settings are encouraged
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement evidence-based, person-centred treatment plans
- Strong communication, interpersonal and clinical reasoning skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, carers and a range of health professionals
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current Working with Children Check and Police Check or willingness to obtain
