Alchemy Recruitment is partnering with a State Government client to support them in recruiting for an Advisor, based in the Brisbane CBD.
About the role
- $69.21 to $75.09/hr + super
- Contract from October 2026 to 25 June 2027, with possibility of extension
- Review and update Disruption Management governance documentation
- Develop and prepare new Planned Events governance documentation
- Coordinate and deliver the rollout of associated training across the state, with intrastate travel required
- Support data request activities as required
- Identify improvement opportunities and prepare clear procedures, work instructions and reports
Preferred Requirements
- Experience developing governance documentation, procedures or work instructions in an operational environment
- Experience coordinating and delivering training to system users or operational staff
- Background in traffic, transport or network operations, incident or disruption management, or event management highly regarded
- Adjacent experience in emergency management,
rail or utility network control also considered
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, with attention to data quality
- Confident communicator with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Able to manage competing priorities in a energetic environment
- Willingness to travel intrastate as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. transport, emergency management, business, public policy) or equivalent experience
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) highly regarded
- Previous government experience, ideally at AO5 level or equivalent, advantageous

- A criminal history check is required
- 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- No work is required during the shutdown period from 24 December to 3 January, or on public holidays
