Our client is seeking an experienced Client Services Officer / Administration Assistant to join a well-established professional services business located on the Sunshine Coast. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, personable and enjoys working with clients while supporting a busy team.
This is a permanent, full-time position offering $65,000 – $80,000 + Super, depending on experience. You’ll play an important role in providing quality client service and administrative support across the business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Welcoming clients and professionally managing incoming calls
- Preparing, collating and uploading client documentation for electronic signing
- Assisting with the creation and management of work in progress
- Maintaining accurate and confidential client records and documentation
- Processing documentation and lodgements with relevant government authorities
- Liaising with external government departments and regulatory bodies
- Preparing and distributing client communications and newsletters
- Assisting with digital marketing and general business communications
- Monitoring debtors and following up outstanding accounts
- Providing diary and email management support
- Providing general administration and office support as required
- Managing communications with government departments such as the ATO and ASIC
What you’ll need:
- A minimum of 2–3 years' experience in office administration or client services
- Previous experience within accounting, financial services or another professional services environment is highly regarded
- Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
- Confidence learning and working across different software platforms
- Experience with Xero, XPM, FYI Docs or FuseSign is advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A professional telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills
- A high level of discretion and confidentiality
- A positive, adaptable and team-focused attitude
