We're now looking for an experienced Software Engineering Team Leader to lead the evolution of our flagship product design and customer quoting platforms, delivering cutting-edge digital experiences that create real value for our customers and our business.

You'll lead a team of developers and analysts responsible for the ongoing development, support and enhancement of our principle design platform and associated software solutions. You'll balance technical leadership with delivery excellence, helping shape the roadmap while ensuring reliable day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

- Leading and mentoring a high performing software development team
- Driving the technical roadmap and influencing future platform direction
- Championing engineering best practices. code quality, testing and CI/CD disciplines
- Delivering innovative customer facing software solutions
- Managing application performance, stability, security and ongoing enhancements
- Leading sprint planning, releases and project delivery activities
- Partnering with stakeholders across the business to translate ideas into practical technology solutions
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation
- Supporting the development, coaching and growth of your team members

About you

You're a credible technical leader who enjoys building capable teams and delivering meaningful outcomes. In addition, you’re an individual that can switch seamlessly between strategic conversations, stakeholder engagement and hands-on technical guidance.

You'll bring:





- Demonstrated experience leading software development teams
- A background developing and supporting enterprise applications
- Experience delivering commercial or customer facing software solutions
- Strong problem solving, planning and prioritisation skills
- Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies and project leadership
- The ability to communicate with confidence across technical and non-technical audiences
- A passion for continuous improvement and technology driven outcomes
