POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Quality Officer to support the Quality Assurance team in monitoring production activities on the factory floor, ensuring pods are built according to standards, identifying non-conformances, and communicating findings effectively to Production and QA teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

n

- Perform routine quality inspections and checks throughout bathroom pod production.
n




- Identify non-conformances or deviations from standard processes and report findings to the QA Manager or Production Manager.
n
- Accurately capture and maintain inspection records using tablets and internal QA systems.
n
- Assist with QA documentation, reporting, and daily quality tracking activities.
n
- Liaise effectively with the QA Team, production operators and leaders regarding quality issues or incomplete process steps.
n
- Monitor corrective actions and confirm completion of required rework.
n
- Build positive working relationships across QA and production teams, promoting a quality-focused culture.
n
- Stay up to date with changes to production processes, drawings, specifications and materials.
n
- Escalate any identified safety or quality concerns promptly.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
n
- Basic computer literacy, including experience using Outlook, Word, Excel, and tablet-based systems.
n
- Ability to read measurements and interpret basic drawings.
n
- Experience using tools and layout equipment such as self-levelling lasers, builders squares, measuring tapes, and similar equipment.
n
- Solid attention to detail, with a sense of urgency and accountability for quality outcomes.
n
- Completion of Year 12 or equivalent.
n
- Previous experience in manufacturing, construction or quality inspection is advantageous but not essential.
n
- Hold a valid White Card (preferred).
