This is a hands-on position working alongside experienced installers, carpenters and plasterers. It is a great opportunity for someone with construction experience who wants to learn specialised acoustic installation techniques and progress into an Acoustic Installer role.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Assisting installers with acoustic wall and ceiling systems
n
- Installing acoustic panels, insulation and soundproofing materials
n
- Assisting with plasterboard/Gyprock and basic carpentry work
n
- Measuring, cutting and preparing materials
n
- Using hand and power tools
n
- Loading, unloading and moving materials
n
- Setting up and packing down work areas
n
- Keeping sites clean, organised and safe
n
- Following instructions, drawings and installation procedures
n
- Working at different project locations throughout Sydney
n

About you

n

n
- Has a valid Construction White Card
n
- Has full working rights in Australia
n
- Has appropriate PPE
n
- Has basic experience using hand and power tools
n
- Has some experience in construction,



labouring or a similar hands-on role
n
- Is physically capable of carrying out construction work
n
- Is reliable and punctual
n
- Takes pride in their work
n
- Can follow instructions and work as part of a team
n
- Is willing to learn new skills and installation techniques
n
- Full-time ongoing employment
