An established and reputable engineering firm is seeking experienced Boilermakers for ongoing casual mine-site work.

This is an excellent opportunity to apply your boilermaking expertise across significant industrial projects, including wash plant and dragline shutdowns. You will join a qualified team working with a reputable employer in the mining sector, with regular opportunities available across varying project and shutdown schedules.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Perform maintenance and repair work during wash plant and dragline shutdowns
n
- Carry out fixed and mobile plant maintenance and repairs
n
- Complete fabrication and welding work to a high standard
n
- Maintain compliance with site safety, quality and environmental requirements
n

n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Current boilermaker trade qualifications and certification
n
- Proven boilermaking, fabrication and welding experience within industrial or mining environments
n
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced mine-site environment
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship




n
- Willingness to work across various mine-site locations
n
- Flexibility to work varying casual project and shutdown schedules
n

n

The successful candidate will

n

n
- Hold a current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
n
- Be able to pass an FCAW butt weld test to ISO standards and a custom fabrication skills test
n
- Hold Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets a plus
n
