Loris H Hassall Trading Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and motivated Wastewater Operator to join our team in Forbes, NSW. This is a full-time, hands-on role within our Wastewater Department, supporting the safe and efficient operation of our wastewater treatment systems and our broader hide-curing operations.
We are looking for someone who is safety focused, reliable, willing to learn and comfortable undertaking practical and manual work. Previous wastewater or industrial experience would be advantageous; however, training will be provided to the right candidate.
What you'll be doing
- Operating and monitoring wastewater treatment equipment and systems
- Collecting wastewater samples and completing required monitoring and records
- Maintaining wastewater, clarifier, holding tank, filter press and collection pit levels
- Monitoring treatment chemicals and ensuring adequate supplies are maintained
- Assisting with environmental monitoring and compliance requirements
- Completing weekly wastewater sheets and daily check sheets
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised Wastewater Department
- Following company SOPs, WHS requirements and environmental procedures
- Working collaboratively with the Wastewater and Hide Curing teams
- Undertaking other reasonable duties as required by the Supervisor and/or Manager

- Current drivers licence and reliable transport
- Previous wastewater, manufacturing or industrial experience is advantageous but not essential
