Feel Good Events is a event and wedding decorating and styling company based in Ferntree Gully. We specialize in creating fun and exciting event themes and styles for our clients private events and weddings.

Feel Good Events is seeking casual hardworking and physically fit event hire installation crew members to join our decorating team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for weddings, parties and events and enjoy the decorating and set up side of events.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the warehouse to help prep customer orders with a range of hire equipment, including dance floors, lighting, draping, furniture, and event and wedding decorating items and props.
n
- Load and unload equipment from trucks and transport to event venues.
n
- Assist with the assembly and disassembly of equipment on site, ensuring that everything is set up according to the design plan and timeline
n
- Move and position equipment as needed to ensure a protected and functional event space.
n
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation process, and make necessary adjustments or repairs as needed.
n
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal safety clothing when required.

Qualifications

n





n
- Previous experience in event decorating setup and installation, including dance floors, lighting, draping, furniture, and props an advantage.
n
- Physically fit and able to lift equipment within the safe lifting zone.
n
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines
n
- Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot on site.
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients.
n
- Most work is Mondays to Saturdays 9am - 5pm but we are looking for willingness to work flexible hours, including late evenings and weekends, as needed.
n
- Valid driver's license is a must as you may be required to drive automatic vans.
n

This role is a casual position and amount of work will depend on your availability and our work load. This position is based at our office/ warehouse inFerntree Gully.

n

Suitable applicants would live within a 20-minute radius from our Ferntree Gully office as all shifts start and finish there.
n This is not an admin planning role.
