About the role

n

We are seeking experienced Senior Hairstylists and motivated Apprentices to join our dynamic team at our Westfields Eastgardens NSW location. These are full-time & part-time positions offering above-award salaries that recognise your expertise and dedication. As a Senior Hairstylist or Apprentice, you will be at the heart of our salon operations, delivering outstanding results to our valued clients whilst mentoring junior staff and contributing to a positive, creative workplace culture. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment whilst being rewarded fairly for your contributions.

Key responsibilities

n

Provide high-quality hairstyling services to clients, including cutting, colouring, styling and treatments

n

Consult with clients to understand their needs, preferences and hair care requirements

n

Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and salon cleanliness at all times

n

Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat bookings

n

Mentor and support apprentices and junior stylists in developing their technical and professional skills

n

Keep up to date with current trends, techniques and industry best practices

n

Manage client bookings efficiently and maintain accurate appointment records

n

Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues in delivering excellence

n

For Apprentices:



Complete formal training and development as required by your apprenticeship programme

n

What we're looking for

n

For Senior Hairstylists: Minimum 3+ years' experience in a professional salon environment, demonstrating mastery of cutting, colouring and styling techniques

n

For Apprentices: A passion for hairstyling with a willingness to learn, combined with strong interpersonal skills and dedication to your training

n

Current or willingness to obtain relevant hairdressing qualifications and certifications recognised within the industry

n

Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele

n

A creative approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to client requests and trends

n

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of work

n

Ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst also managing your own client base

n

Flexibility with working hours, including potential weekend and evening shifts

n

For Senior Hairstylists: Proven ability to mentor and support junior staff members

n

A genuine commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry advancements
