As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you will work collaboratively with our team to provide high-quality education and care for children. Kallara Early Education is a newly opened, family-owned early learning service catering for up to 90 children from birth to six years, focused on creating a welcoming, supportive and high-quality setting where children, families and educators feel a genuine sense of belonging.

Key responsibilities

- Building warm, respectful and responsive relationships with children and families
- Supporting the planning and implementation of engaging learning experiences
- Contributing to educational programs based on children's interests, strengths and developmental needs
- Supporting children's wellbeing, learning and development
- Maintaining a safe, welcoming and inclusive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with educators, the Educational Leader and service management
- Maintaining documentation in accordance with the EYLF and National Quality Framework
- Supporting effective supervision and ensuring children's health and safety
- Contributing to the service's continuous improvement and Quality Improvement Plan
- Maintaining professional and respectful communication with families and colleagues

About you

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification




- Current NSW Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS)
- A strong commitment to child safety and providing high-quality education and care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a growing service
- Reliability, initiative and a genuine passion for working with young children
