About the Role

St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Geography and English Teacher to join our Secondary Years team for a full time, 1 year contract commencing Term 1 2027.

This role is ideally suited to an educator with the capability and enthusiasm to teach Senior QCAA Geography, alongside English across Years 7-12. Working as part of a highly professional teaching team, you will contribute to curriculum delivery, student wellbeing and the ongoing mission of excellence in teaching and learning across the Secondary School.

What You Bring

- A relevant qualification in Education and current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) Registration.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Senior QCAA Geography, including curriculum, assessment, and reporting requirements.
- Experience teaching Geography and English in a secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of contemporary teaching, learning and assessment practices that support diverse student needs.
- Solid classroom management, organisational and time management skills.
- Commitment to the College's Christian ethos and values.
