About the Role

n

We're seeking experienced Civil Plant Operators to join our team on the New England Solar Farm, located near Armidale, NSW, with opportunities to work on subsequent projects across Australia.

n

The role will involve operating excavators and other plant and machinery to support civil and electrical construction works, including trenching, backfilling, material handling and general site activities.

n

We welcome applications from local candidates, and candidates travelling to the project on a roster basis.

n

This is a casual position with a start in mid to late August.

- Monday to Saturday or 20 & 8 roster.
n
- Above award hourly rates and applicable penalty rates.
n

Skills and Experience

n

n
- Demonstrated experience operating excavators and other civil plant and machinery, including trenching and civil construction works.
n




- Experienced with Final Trim & non-GPS works
n
- Drivers Licence is essential.
n
- HR Licence is desirable.
n
- White Card is essential.
n
- Machine operating licences such as Excavator and Telehandler are essential.
n
- Ability to work safely around heavy machinery.
n
- Must be an experienced, competent and safety‐conscious plant operator.
n
- Experience working on utility network projects, including Essential Energy or Energex, is highly desirable.
n
- Ability to work effectively on large-scale construction projects while adhering to strict safety standards and procedures.
n
- Show valuable attention to detail and have the ability to work in a team environment with a can‐do attitude.
n
- Be fit and able to pass a pre‐employment medical, drug and alcohol test.
n
- Able to pass daily breath testing and random drug testing on site.
