Casino Food Company is a leading food processor and exporter with operations based in Casino and Booyong, near Lismore, in the Northern Rivers region of NSW.

n

We are seeking a Trainee Boiler Attendant / Boiler Attendant to join our Maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or build a career in industrial plant operations. The successful applicant will receive training and support to develop the skills and qualifications required to operate and maintain boiler systems in a large-scale food manufacturing environment. This role involves rotating shift work and overtime as required.

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Maintenance team, your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Monitoring and operating boiler, steam and hot water systems
n
- Assisting with the operation and monitoring of refrigeration plant equipment
n
- Conducting routine inspections and system checks
n
- Testing and monitoring boiler water treatment and chemical systems
n
- Performing basic maintenance and housekeeping activities
n
- Assisting tradespeople with maintenance tasks and projects
n
- Ensuring work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures
n

About You

- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems

- Flexibility to work rotating rosters, including weekends and overtime

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

n

While not essential, the following will be highly regarded:

n

n
- Boiler Attendant High Risk Work Licence (Standard or Advanced)
n
- Experience in manufacturing, processing or industrial environments
n
- Forklift Licence
n
- EWP, Dogging or Crane High Risk Work Licences
n
- HR or HC Driver Licence
n
- Experience operating mobile plant such as loaders, excavators or skid steers
n
