As the new owners of Quest Dubbo who are about to do a major refurbishment, we are looking for a special person to join our team and welcome guests to our property.
As a Front Office Receptionist, you'll be involved in all aspects of our guests' stay. Our Front Office team is at the heart of the guest experience. From the moment a guest makes an enquiry or walks through our doors, through to the time they check out, we want them to feel genuinely welcomed, looked after and at home.
Key responsibilities
- Welcoming guests and providing friendly, professional service
- Checking guests in and out
- Managing accommodation enquiries and reservations
- Answering telephone and email enquiries
- Processing guest accounts and payments accurately
- Assisting guests with requests and resolving issues quickly
- Sharing your knowledge of Dubbo, including local restaurants, attractions and services
- Promoting Quest Dubbo and helping guests choose the right apartment for their stay
- Coordinating with our housekeeping and maintenance teams
- Assisting with meeting and conference facilities
About you
- Naturally friendly, welcoming and approachable
- Confident dealing with guests both face-to-face and over the phone
- Calm and solution-focused when problems arise
- Well organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Reliable and willing to be part of a team
- Professionally presented
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- A strong communicator with good attention to detail
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service
- Previous experience in hotel reception, accommodation, tourism, hospitality or customer service would be highly regarded
