About us

Carbar and iDrive are part of an innovative Australian automotive group providing adaptable vehicle subscription and rental solutions.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking person to join our team in a hands‐on role focused primarily on cleaning and preparing vehicles for customers. You will also assist with customer handovers and move vehicles between our sites, mechanics and other service providers.
n
About the role
n
This is primarily a vehicle cleaning and preparation role, so you must be comfortable completing physical, hands‐on work throughout the day.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Cleaning and detailing vehicle interiors and exteriors
n
- Preparing vehicles to a high standard before customer collection or delivery
n
- Inspecting vehicles and reporting any damage, maintenance or presentation issues
n
- Moving vehicles between our sites, mechanics and other service providers
n
- Assisting customers with vehicle collections and returns
n
- Completing basic vehicle condition checks
n
- Helping with general site duties as required
n
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
n
n
About you
n
We are looking for someone who:
n
n
- Takes pride in presenting clean, well‐prepared vehicles
n
- Is reliable, punctual and able to work independently
n
- Has a friendly and professional manner with customers
n
- Is comfortable performing physical work
n
- Can manage competing tasks in a busy environment
n
- Pays close attention to detail
n
- Holds a current unrestricted Australian driver's licence
n
- Is confident driving different types of vehicles
n
- Is available to work Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
n
n
Previous experience in vehicle cleaning, detailing, car rental, automotive operations or customer service would be helpful but is not essential.
n
