Warehouse / Storeperson – Driver / General Hand

This is a diverse role that would suit someone who enjoys being active, organised and part of a small team.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

Receiving, checking and putting away stock

n

Picking, packing and loading for jobs and deliveries

n

Operating the forklift safely in a small, tight warehouse

n

Tip runs, local deliveries and general "running around" as needed

n

Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and organised

n

Helping set up and improve basic processes (labelling, racking, stock locations, checklists)

n

Working closely with the office and installation teams to solve daily logistics issues

n

We're looking for a self‐starter who likes to spot problems and fix them rather than wait for instructions.

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

A current forklift licence (essential)

n

A current driver's licence and confidence driving - need to see digital copy

n





Previous warehouse / storeperson or similar experience (solar/electrical ideal but not essential)

n

Strong focus on safety, especially working in a small and cramped warehouse

n

Good organisation skills and attention to detail

n

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

n

Willingness to pitch in with whatever needs doing on the day

n

Hours and flexibility

n

We are open to discussing hours and days for the right person.

n

We expect:

n

3 to 5 days per week (Monday to Friday)

n

Early start 7:00am with an early finish

n

If you need slightly different hours, we're happy to talk.

Pay

n

This role is covered by the Storage Services & Wholesale Award, and we pay above‐award rates depending on your experience, forklift skills and level of responsibility.
