n OPPORTUNITY TO MANAGE THE JULIA CREEK SWIMMING POOL AND AQUATIC CENTRE

McKinlay Shire Council invites expressions of interest from a motivated and community-minded individual, team, or business to take on the management of the Julia Creek Swimming Pool and Aquatic Centre.

This is an exciting opportunity to operate a valued community facility, deliver quality aquatic services, and contribute to a safe, active, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

- Day-to-day operation of the Swimming Pool and Aquatic Centre
n
- Water quality management and monitoring
n
- Pool plant and filtration system oversight
n
- Grounds and facility maintenance
n
- Supervision of pool access and patron safety
n
- Kiosk operations
n
- Delivery of Learn to Swim lessons and aquatic programs
n

The management arrangement is offered for an initial term of 12 months, with an option to extend for a further 12 months. A housing subsidy is available to the successful applicant.
