Great River Trading Australia Pty Ltd – Campbellfield VIC

Great River Trading Australia Pty Ltd is a newly established Australian company specialising in the sales and distribution of automotive starting lead-acid batteries. This is a practical warehouse role suited to someone who enjoys being actively involved in day-to-day warehouse operations. You will be responsible for receiving and checking stock, picking and preparing customer orders, loading and unloading goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, keeping the warehouse organised and supporting local deliveries when required. As a newly established business, you'll have the prospect to work closely with management and help establish efficient warehouse processes and standards as the business grows.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting with the day-to-day operation and organisation of the warehouse
- Receiving, unloading, checking and storing automotive batteries and other related products
- Picking, checking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
- Operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment where required
- Ensuring batteries are safely handled, stored and prepared for delivery
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock locations
- Assisting with regular cycle counts and stocktakes
- Identifying and reporting stock discrepancies, damaged goods or missing stock




- Checking product models, specifications, quantities and order details before dispatch

About you

- Previous experience in a warehouse, storeperson, logistics, distribution or similar role
- Practical experience in receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
- Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock and customer orders
- An understanding of basic inventory and stock control procedures
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to follow warehouse procedures and safe work practices
- Good physical fitness and the ability to safely handle and move warehouse goods
- A reliable and responsible approach to workThe ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication and coordination skills
