Our client, a global bank, is seeking a motivatedFinance Analystto join their Finance & Administration department. This is a great opportunity for an early-career finance qualified to gain broad exposure across month-end close, regulatory and Head Office reporting support, accounts payable, and cross-functional finance projects within a global banking environment.

About the Role
n
Reporting into the Finance team, you will support the month-end close process, assist with reconciliations and reporting working files, maintain financial data, and contribute to process improvement and ad hoc projects across the department.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Support month-end close to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
n
- Prepare month-end reconciliations and assist with daily reconciliations and checks
n
- Prepare working files to support regulatory and Head Office reporting
n
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement
n
- Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets
n
- Assist with processing invoices and reconciling vendor accounts
n
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounts payable processes
n
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data
n
- Participate in process efficiency reviews and ad hoc projects, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
n
- Support budgeting processes through data gathering and analysis
n
- Assist in preparing information for internal and external audits
n
n
About You
n
Qualifications & Experience
n
n
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (CA/CPA/CFA a plus)
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance role
n
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
n
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
n
n

This is a well-paying 12-month contract position, paying up to 130k Including super, depending onprior experience.
