We’re looking for an experienced Finance Administrator to join Rural Group and take ownership of the financial operations across our three Victorian branches.

This is a senior role with plenty of variety, covering payroll, banking, statutory compliance, floorplan management, financial reporting and team leadership.

Based at either Cobram, Shepparton or Echuca, you’ll work closely with our leadership team and branch teams to keep the numbers on track and support the continued growth of Rural Group.

The Opportunity:

- Manage all accounts payable and receivable across the Victoria branch network
- Process weekly payroll — manage employee setup, terminations and salary sacrifice
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and manage cashflow reporting to the CFO and NFM
- Manage floorplan payout and bailment processes per CNH/DLL requirements
- Prepare and lodge BAS/IAS, payroll tax returns and superannuation payments monthly
- Produce month-end journals, depreciation schedules and management reporting
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts




- Guide and mentor the branch administration team; attend monthly management reviews
- Support external audit and annual statutory compliance obligations

About You:

You don’t need to have done every part of this role before, but you do need to be the kind of person who takes initiative, is comfortable working across a broad remit, and genuinely cares about doing things right.

- 5+ years in a senior finance role;
- Working knowledge of BAS/IAS, payroll tax, superannuation and floorplan finance
- High proficiency with ERP/DMS systems, payroll software and bank applications
- Proven ability to lead and develop a branch administration team
- Excellent communicator — comfortable with auditors, banks, statutory bodies and branch managers
- Agricultural equipment or multi-site dealership experience is highly regarded
