Customer Service, Catering & Office Admin Coordinator
Join one of Melbourne's fastest-growing premium ready-made meal businesses.
At BLAKEAWAY, we're passionate about making life easier through exceptional ready-made meals, outstanding customer service and a genuine commitment to quality.
What began as a boutique ready-made meals business has grown into a multi-site operation serving customers through our retail stores, online platform, catering, gifting and corporate and care partnerships.
As we continue to grow, we're investing in our people and systems to ensure we continue delivering the high-quality products and customer experience BLAKEAWAY has become known for.
We're now looking for an organised, energetic and customer-focused Customer Service, Catering & Office Admin Coordinator to join our team at Glen Iris.
This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who loves working with customers, enjoys being organised and takes pride in making sure things get done.
If you're a great communicator, thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy a role where no two days are quite the same, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
You'll play an important role across three key areas of the business — customer service, catering and gifting, and office administration.
You'll be one of the key points of contact for our customers, helping with everything from everyday enquiries through to catering orders, gifting and hampers.
You'll also work closely with our kitchen, packing, retail stores and delivery teams to coordinate orders and help ensure our customers receive the high-quality experience they expect from BLAKEAWAY.
Alongside your customer-facing responsibilities, you'll provide general office and administrative support to help keep our Glen Iris office and broader business running smoothly.
This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, is comfortable managing multiple priorities and likes taking ownership of seeing things through from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
Responding to customer enquiries across email, phone and our customer service platform.
Resolving customer questions and feedback in a friendly, timely and professional manner.
Supporting our NDIS and HCP customers with sales, account and service enquiries.
Assisting customers with account and loyalty program enquiries.
Managing catering enquiries, sales, orders, invoicing and schedules.
Coordinating catering orders with our kitchen, packing, retail and delivery teams.
Keeping customers informed and helping ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time.
Supporting seasonal gifting and hamper sales and delivery, particularly during busy periods such as Christmas and Easter.
Making outbound sales calls to corporate and individual customers to support catering, gifting and hamper sales.
Undertaking general office administration, filing, data entry and record keeping.
Assisting with invoicing, rostering and compliance documentation.
Coordinating office supplies, correspondence, mail and deliveries.
Providing general administrative support across the business.
These responsibilities reflect the combination of customer service, catering and gifting coordination, sales support and office administration set out in the position description.
