Part-time/ Casual Pharmacy Assistant and pharmacist

n

Provide front counter customer service, retail sales, and product recommendations

n

Replenish stock, face shelves, and maintain merchandising and store presentation

n

Keep the pharmacy clean, tidy, and safe

n

Support the pharmacist with general daily tasks

n

Assist with prescription processing, scanning, and labelling

n

Prepare and assemble Webster packs with close attention to accuracy

n

Requirements:

n

n
- Retail or pharmacy experience is preferred but not essential
n
- Reliable, honest, and attentive to detail
n
- Good communication skills, friendly and approachable
n
- Committed to learning and following correct procedures
n

Training and Support:

n

n
- Full training provided for the right candidate
n
- S2/S3 and First Aid pathway: For entry-level candidates: S2/S3 and First Aid to be completed prior to starting
n

n

Hours and Rate:

n

n
- 10–20 hours per week — based on experience, ability, and fit
n
- Rate reviewed as skills and responsibilities grow
n

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Act as the sole responsible pharmacist, operating independently and confidently
n




- Accurate dispensing, prescription checking, and patient counselling
n
- Provide professional health advice, medication counselling, and product recommendations
n
- Review and verify all Webster packs for accuracy, safety, and completeness
n
- Administer vaccinations — valid vaccination authority and license required
n
- Maintain compliance, stock rotation, cold chain management, and pharmacy standards
n
- No methadone program — clean, focused dispensary environment
n

Requirements:

- Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist
n
- Valid vaccination authority and license
n
- Able to work independently, reliably, and communicate clearly
n
- Experience in Webster packing and retail pharmacy is preferred
n
