Job Description

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Medical Hub West Ryde, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellent clinical care, supporting general practitioners, and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice.

Key responsibilities

- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including triage, wound management, immunisations, and chronic disease management
n
- Assist doctors with minor procedures, patient assessments, and care planning
n
- Perform health assessments and develop care plans for patients with chronic conditions
n
- Conduct screenings, such as ECGs, spirometry, and other diagnostic tests as required
n
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records using clinical software
n
- Educate patients and their families on health management, including lifestyle and medication advice
n
- Support infection control practices and ensure compliance with clinical standards
n
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training sessions
n

About you

- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
n
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in general practice or a similar clinical setting (preferred)
n
- Proficiency in wound care, chronic disease management, and vaccination administration
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
n
- A commitment to delivering patient-centred care
n
- Experience using clinical software Best Practice is advantageous
n
