We are currently seeking an experienced Sales & Service Officer to join our team and support the continued growth of our business.

About the Role

n

The Sales & Service Officer will be responsible for coordinating customer enquiries and bookings from initial enquiry through to service delivery, while working closely with our Sales, Logistics, Scheduling and Driving teams.

n

This is a hands-on coordination role suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy operational environment, building strong customer relationships, and making sure the details are right.

n

You will be a key point of contact for customers and will help ensure that what has been sold to the customer can be delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Respond to customer enquiries and provide professional and timely service
n
- Prepare and coordinate quotations, bookings, and service confirmations
n
- Develop strong ongoing relationships with customers and key clients
n
- Coordinate customer requirements with Sales, Operations and Scheduling teams
n
- Ensure bookings contain accurate and complete service information
n
- Liaise with customers regarding changes, special requirements and operational matters
n
- Monitor bookings through to completion and follow up where required
n
- Identify opportunities to improve customer service and business processes
n
- Assist with the coordination of charter, school, corporate, rail replacement and other passenger transport services
n
- Maintain accurate booking,



customer and service information
n
- Assist with resolving customer enquiries, concerns and service issues
n
- Work closely with the Operations team to ensure customer expectations align with operational requirements
n
- Support the Sales team with administration, reporting and follow-up activities
n
- Identify opportunities for additional services and support business development activities
n
- Contribute to maintaining high standards of safety, service and professionalism
n
- Undertake other administrative and coordination duties as required
n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who is organised, commercially aware and genuinely enjoys working with customers.

n

You will ideally have:

- Previous experience in a customer service, sales, operations or similar role
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- The ability to manage multiple bookings, customers and priorities at the same time
n
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
n
- A professional and customer-focused approach
n
- Confidence dealing with customers by phone and email
n
- Good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
n
- The ability to work effectively with different teams and stakeholders
n
- A practical understanding of the importance of operational requirements, safety and compliance
n
- The ability to remain calm and solutions-focused in a busy environment
n
- Experience in transport, logistics, tourism, hospitality, events or another operational service environment will be highly regarded.
