Theprincipaldutiestofulfill the accountabilities of this role will be carried out at the principal place of business for BLR 22 Edward Street, Biggenden. Attendance at cattle sales conducted at the Burnett Livestock Exchange at Saleyards Rd, Biggenden will be mandatory for all sale days.

Principal Accountabilities
n
Ensure that all data (electronic and paper) handled by administration team members is actioned with professionalism at all times and that administration functions are carried out accurately and effectively including the recording and maintenance of data
n
Managing the accounting information systems of BLR to ensure that management reports are prepared on time and are accurate
n
Managing the disbursement and receipt of monies in multiple accounts and to ensure the correct recording of these transactions
n
Management and coordination of systems to ensure correct recording and payment of payroll
n
Maintenance and problem solving related to information systems (ie computer system)
and adopting systems to ensure the effective maintenance and operation of information systems
n
Developing a thorough understanding of the client base and developing administration systems to provide productive, accurate and timely advice and data to serve the clients of BLR
n
Ensuring the physical and electronic security of all data and records of BLR so that security is maintained at all times
n
Design of systems to ensure the clean and professional presentation of physical offices of BLR at all times.
n
Ensure that communications systems are in place to ensure that all incoming communications for BLR are received in a timely manner and distributed for action to the appropriate areas within BLR.

Technical Skills
n
Previous MYOB experience preferred including the ability to manage data entry and understand and analyse data output from MYOB
n
Understanding of the cattle industry preferred
n
Professional approach to management of the financial function of a small to medium business
