Camilleri Farming is located 40km West of Coonabarabran, the Astronomy Capital of Australia and the home of the Warrumbungle's. A mixed farming enterprise of Sheep, Cattle, Pigs and Cropping.

We are seeking an applicant to fill a full time vacancy which will include a freshly painted 3 bedroom share house and electricity costs covered.

The position requires the ability to work in a team setting but also to be able to work alone and unsupervised. We are seeking long term employees.

n

No working holiday or sponsorship. Need to be an Australian citizen or have permeant work rights in Australia.

Position – Farrowing House Supervisor

n

Prefer experience with pigs

n

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

n

- Artificial Insemination
n
- Running all aspects of the farrow house from birth to weaning
n
- Bobcat Work (will teach if needed)
n
- Weighing
n
- Treatment of sick animals
n

n

Hours – 5 days a week with a rostered day off and every second weekend (40hrs)

Remuneration to be negotiated on experience
