Based in Pendle Hill, we are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to assist with cleaning and maintaining a busy poultry production facility.

Pay Rate: Starting from $32.81/hr + shift loadings

Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00am start

The Role
n
Our client is a leading manufacturer of quality poultry products for the food service and retail markets.
n
As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across various areas of the site, including:
n

- Office areas
n
- Production areas where raw chicken will be present
n
- Male and female bathrooms
n
- Car parks
n
- General site areas
n
n
The role involves working in a food production environment and requires a strong understanding of hygiene, safety and cleaning procedures.
n
Duties Include
n
n
- Cleaning and maintaining production areas
n
- Cleaning office areas
n
- Cleaning male and female bathrooms
n
- Cleaning car parks and general site areas
n
- Repetitive manual handling and heavy lifting
n
- Using hoses and gurneys
n
- Sanitising work areas
n
- Using approved cleaning chemicals
n
- Following strict cleaning and hygiene procedures
n
- Following all safety directions and site requirements
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
n
- Previous commercial or industrial cleaning experience required
n
- Comfortable working around raw chicken and within a food production setting
n
- Physically fit and able to meet the demands of a labour-intensive role
n
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
n
- Good communication and organisational skills
n
- Understanding of Work Health & Safety
n
- Reliable and committed to ongoing work
n
- Able to follow instructions and strict hygiene procedures
