We're currently seeking an experienced Collections Officer to join our Finance team in Rhodes and take ownership of a diverse Accounts Receivable portfolio.

About the Role

Reporting to the Invoice to Collect Manager, you'll manage an assigned ledger and play a critical role in maintaining healthy cash flow across our business. This is a hands-on role that blends collections expertise, stakeholder management, and customer service.

You will:

- Manage a portfolio of outstanding accounts and achieve collection targets
- Follow up overdue accounts through proactive communication and payment resolution
- Reconcile customer accounts and allocate incoming payments
- Generate statements and invoices
- Handle customer queries and service tickets
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across multiple business divisions
- Maintain accurate collection records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ACCC debt collection guidelines
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounts Receivable function

About You

We're looking for a confident and skilled collections specialist who can balance commercial outcomes with outstanding customer service.

To be successful, you'll bring:

- Minimum 5 years' experience in Collections, Credit Control or Accounts Receivable
- Strong understanding of:
- Debt collection processes
- Accounts Receivable
- Account reconciliations
- Payment allocation
- Knowledge of ACCC Debt Collection Guidelines




- Strong communication skills and confidence handling sensitive conversations
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills
- Experience with accounting or ERP systems (Oracle experience highly regarded)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
