Ski Hire Technician - Jindabyne Winter 2026 - Full Time and Part Time positions available

Jindy Snow Ski Hire is hiring experienced ski hire technicians for the 2026 winter ski season (4 months, June long weekend to October long weekend).

We are seeking:

- An Experienced Ski Hire technician.
n
- Adaptable casual roles available (must be available on Saturdays).
n
- People who love the snow and enjoy sharing that enthusiasm with others!
n

Responsibilities:

n

n
- The hiring of snow sports equipment including skis, snowboards, clothing, and snow chains.
n
- Fitting and serving customers accurately and efficiently in a Jindabyne based ski hire.
n
- Receiving returned rental items and performing routine maintenance on returned goods.
n
- Retail sales of snow sports accessories in support of rental duties.
n
- Restocking retail displays.
n
- Cash handling and processing of transactions using a POS system and EFTPOS terminal.
n

Requirements:

- Answering telephone inquiries.
n
- General retail housekeeping duties.
n
- Trading hours are 7 am - 7 pm 7 days a week during the winter ski season.
n
- Previous ski hire experience is essential.
n
- Suitable for enthusiastic skiers and snowboarders who want to ride every week and not just work!
n
- Own transport is essential as we are located 8km from the main township of Jindabyne (in East Jindabyne).
n
- Must possess current working rights, holiday working visa applicants are encouraged to apply.

General Retail Industry Award (2020) wages (starting at $33.19), including penalty rates and overtime.

n

Located in East Jindabyne with shifts available 7 days a week we are looking for both part timers (up to 20 hours/week) and full time equivalent (up to 38 hours/week).
