Ken Muston Automotive is a multi-franchise automotive dealership in the heart of the Goulburn Valley with over 45 years in the industry. We are seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter/Warehouse Support person to join our busy Parts team in our Service Centre.

As a parts interpreter you will join an experienced and knowledgeable team responsible for the ordering, distribution, maintenance and sales of spare parts and accessories to retail, trade and internal customers.

Your day will include:

- Explaining parts and accessories, and taking orders over the phone or in person
n
- Assisting our service advisors and technicians in part selection, delivery times and pricing
n
- Placing orders in our internal system and then ordering on manufacturer sites
n
- Following up outstanding orders
n
- Warehouse organisation
n
- Part distribution to the workshop
n
- Managing stock orders
n
- Arranging part fitment or delivery
n
- Monitoring stock levels and returning parts within time frames
n
- Reading and interpreting manufacturer bulletins including warranty rectification work
n
- Photographing, listing and selling parts online
n




- Meeting performance expectations such as manufacturer sales targets and operational goals
n
- Providing support to the Parts Manager
n

To be successful in this role you will need to have outstanding and proven organisational skills, with the ability to multitask with a smile. Providing excellent customer service will be a significant portion of your duties and due to the nature of this role, advanced computer skills are a necessity. Your attention to detail must be exceptional.

Having a forklift licence would be an advantage but not essential.

n

Working closely with the Parts Manager, you will utilise your extensive warehouse/parts experience to grow the department and ensure it runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

Knowledge of the car industry and in particular the Auto IT DMS (UNITS) would be highly advantageous.
