About the Role

Experience/Licenses:

Minimum C Class licence (HR or HC advantageous)

Shift Times

Standardly 8:00am to 5:00pm

Monday to Friday | Full Time

We’re looking for an exceptional Commercial Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and win new business. The ideal candidate should be excited about the prospect to identify, pursue and capture new business opportunities,



while being part of a team motivated through a continuous improvement mindset and a solutions-based approach.

What You’ll Do

Our Commercial Manager has full responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the Rockhampton and Yeppoon regions. You’ll lead by example, creating a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement while ensuring the highest safety standards are upheld, and outstanding service is delivered for our customers. You’ll work within the Capricorn Coast Region management team in growing a culture of excellence in all areas of our business operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Identify opportunities to expand the business, including through partnerships, mergers and new markets
- Analyse sales, resource allocations and other operational reports to gain insights into how to improve performance and maximise growth
- Assist with compiling accurate and consistent bids with the help of relevant departments
- Maintain sustainable and productive relationships with existing clients
- Oversee daily operations to ensure excellence in service delivery to our customers
- Assess risks associated with prospective customer sites to ensure safe operations during service delivery
- Work with commitment to meeting deadlines and be ready to handle unexpected situations

What You’ll Bring





- Must have at least 3 years of experience in business development, operations / logistics management, customer management, sales or related field
- Strong communication, sales and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise projects
- MBA preferred but not necessary with relevant experience
- Must be team oriented and results focused

What You’ll Need

- To hold a current Open C Class licence (HR or HC highly regarded)
