The Royal Exchange of Sydney, right in the heart of the CBD, is looking for a Kitchen Hand / Commis Chef to join our Catering & Events team.

n

This is more than just a kitchen hand role — it's an opportunity to learn, build your confidence and develop your cooking skills while working alongside a small, hands‐on team.

n

You'll be involved in everything from food preparation and kitchen service to our weekday lunches and a variety of morning, evening and weekend events. Every shift brings something different.

What we're looking for

- Previous kitchen experience
n
- A genuine passion for food and cooking
n
- Someone keen to learn and develop their skills
n
- A positive, can-do attitude
n
- Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure
n




- A reliable team player who is happy to get stuck in

- Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday, with varying shifts
