Gold Coast Based | Projects Across Multiple Locations | Travel Required

We are recruiting experienced Site Supervisors on behalf of an established Gold Coast-based construction business with a strong pipeline of projects across multiple locations.

n

This opportunity will suit a capable Supervisor who enjoys variety, autonomy and taking genuine ownership of site delivery.

n

While the business is based on the Gold Coast, this is not a Gold Coast-only site role.

n

Projects can be located regionally, remotely and interstate, so you must be genuinely willing and able to travel and work away from home as projects require.

n

The position specifically requires Supervisors who are comfortable travelling and working on remote construction sites.

n

The Role Reporting into the project delivery team, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and successful delivery of allocated construction sites.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Managing day-to-day construction activities on site
n
- Driving programme and key project milestones
n
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel
n
- Managing labour, equipment, materials and site logistics
n
- Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
n
- Monitoring subcontractor performance and scope compliance
n
- Working closely with Project Managers on budgets and project performance
n
- Maintaining site documentation, QA records and progress reporting
n




- Ensuring compliance with building standards and legislative requirements
n
- Managing safety, environmental and quality requirements
n
- Leading site teams and maintaining strong subcontractor relationships
n
- Liaising professionally with clients and project stakeholders
n
- Proactively resolving site issues to keep projects moving
n

The role has responsibility across site delivery, programme, subcontractor management, quality and SHEQ compliance.

n

About You

n

We'd like to speak with experienced Supervisors who have:

n

n
- Certificate IV in Building & Construction or equivalent experience
n
- Site Supervisor's Licence and White Card
n
- Strong building/construction industry experience
n
- Proven experience leading site teams and subcontractors
n
- Strong programming, planning and coordination skills
n
- Understanding of site administration and project documentation
n
- Sound safety, quality and environmental knowledge
n
- Ability to work autonomously and make confident decisions on site
n
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
n
- Flexibility to regularly travel and work away from the Gold Coast, including remote project locations – essential
n

The position calls for a minimum of four years' post-apprenticeship or eight years' building/construction industry experience.
