We're looking for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver to join the yard team at our Moulton park branch. This is a fast-paced, practical role at the heart of our operation, supporting customers, suppliers and colleagues to keep everything running smoothly.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Safely operating a forklift to pick, load and unload vehicles.
n
- Assisting customers, suppliers and delivery drivers on site.
n
- Picking orders manually and handling heavy materials where required.
n
- Occasionally making deliveries in a 3.5t dropside vehicle.
n
- Keeping the yard clean, organised and safe, with high standards of presentation.
n
- Managing stock rotation and highlighting shortages or issues.
n
- Carrying out daily checks on plant and machinery and reporting defects or H&S; concerns.
n
- Working closely with the wider yard team to maintain an efficient operation.
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Valid forklift licence and experience operating a forklift.
n
- Previous experience working in a builders' merchant environment.
n




- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
n
- Valuable communication skills and attention to detail.
n
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- Strong awareness of safety procedures.
n
- Eligible to work in the UK.
n
